Pokemon Go comes to Tintern!
23rd July 2016
Pokemon Go has arrived in historic Tintern- with a gym in the Abbey !
Pokemon Go has arrived in Tintern and Monmouthshire Cottages guests have been out enjoying the fun in bright warm sunshine.
Perhaps unusually for a rural area there are two Pokemon gyms in the village and various rare Pokemon creatures have been spotted near the ancient Cistercian Abbey! .
Its all adding the fun of the Wye Valley for those who cannot be without their phones on holiday- the GPS sport of Geocaching is already hugely popular in the area and guests enjoy uploading their results in the evenings thanks to WiFi in Tintern Abbey Cottage, Foxes Reach and Vanilla Cottage.

Thank you for the great welcome, lovely Welsh Cakes and nice bottle of wine.
We had a brilliant timand had some lovely walks and exploration as well as visits to some great little towns. Had a brilliant quiz night at the Boat Inn in Chepstow!!
Amazing weather, great wildlife (so lovely to see the Red Kite population living in this part of the country).
