Reviews from our guests

There are two places where our guests leave us comments.

They  are written by hand in the visitor books in each cottage ( sometimes even signed by the pets! ) Sometimes people forget to write in the book and e mail us later. We faithfully copy these comments as they come in and we upload them here. The only thing we hide or alter is the full guest name and address for obvious reasons of privacy.

Secondly we encourage our guests to write about us on Trip Advisor and we have an automatic feed of what has been written from Trip Advisor to this site .  Reviews posted like that show on the home page for each cottage, so now you can see what others have said.

As you will see we do have brilliant reviews. They are genuine, not a "fix" and  and its not that nothing ever goes wrong!. Although our standards are very high just occasionally, in the real world,  things are bound to happen. The good reviews are  because if something does go awry, and if our guests tell us about it  during their stay,  we do move heaven and earth to fix it while those guests are still with us. People appreciate this effort  on our part greatly and we guarantee it.

"After a very busy half term at school, Vanilla Cottage was just what the doctor ordered. Peace and quiet in a beautiful part of the country. Dogs loved the walks on the doorstep and the garden to let off steam. Plenty to see and do and it was always lovely to return each day to this cosy cottage with all mod cons. Returning home relaxed and refreshed! Alison Kipling, Jon Daniel and Hess and Barney Devon "

""Home from Home" cottage, very cosy, very welcoming. Enjoyed watching different breeds of birds in the garden. For lovely food try The Black Bear 0.9 miles up the hill - cash only! Lovely Sunday Carvery at the Golf club, walking distance bottom of the hill, turn left. Very enjoyable few days " Diolch yn Fawr Odette and Dave Pavey Neath "

"Good accommodation in a beautiful part of the country. Unfortunately the weather was dire, so we didn't see a lot. We are lucky to have a friend in the area. Thank you for a warm haven from the rain! We appreciated the rapid attention given to our problems and their speedy resolution. Gibson Salisbury"
