This exciting festival flows down the River Valley from 5 to 20 May and there are so many events to enjoy at this dazzling time of the year -so make sure you are staying with us in the heart of the action! If you can tear yourself away from bluebells try Moon Bathing or a picnic under the Moon with musicians in Tintern Abbey ,explore a shadow forest, go on a veteran tree walk or a Pilgrimage walk, or join a thrilling torchlit procession with spectacular fire sculptures.
Highlights include a sound and light show amongst the trees of Symonds Yat ( 5 and 6 may), the Festival Show at Monmouth's Shire Hall 12May, the magical Museum of the Moon 14-20 May in Tintern Abbey ( a Ticketed event which should be particularly special on the evening of 18 May when there is music and a picnic in the Abbey too, and daytime fun with the Water Girls. Trapeze, music,dance and theatre at the festival Finale along at Llandogo on 19 May.
At the time of writing there is availability for arrival on 11 or 14 May at Vanilla Cottage and 18 May at Foxes Reach so you could come for a weekend or a whole week and see the best bits of the festival! Tintern Abbey Cottage is fully booked for the festival dates.
