Cottages reopen after lockdown

On 11 July 2020  all three  properties operated by Monmouthshire Cottages were permitted to reopen after the 4 month Covid-19 lockdown period.

The cottages  were fully booked by customers eager to return to the rural space on offer after this difficult period.

Mr Trevor Jones and family, who travelled from the Midlands,  said  ” We live in a flat. Its a nice one but we dont have a garden. It was so great to be able to enjoy the flowers in the garden at this lovely cottage and the whole family has enjoyed the hot tub too. The cottage was brilliantly clean and knowing that the owners have the Good to Go kitemark  and are taking our safety seriously was reassuring. We have been walking but as yet we are not visiting many  attractions or places to eat. We are just loving being safe and outdoors with our children. We would love to come back and maybe by then we will feel we want to explore the Wye Valley a bit more.”
