Reviews from our guests

There are several places where our guests leave us comments.

Not everyone writes in our books – but some people do write by hand in the visitor books in each cottage ( sometimes even signed by the pets! ) Sometimes people forget to write in the book and e mail us later. We faithfully copy these comments as they come in and we upload them here. The only thing we ever hide or alter is the full guest name and address for obvious reasons of privacy.

Secondly we encourage our guests to write about us on the site through which they booked (Trip Advisor, Air B and B, Cottages.com, Freetobook  etc)

As you will see we do have brilliant reviews. They are genuine, not a “fix” and  and its not that nothing ever goes wrong!  Although our standards are very high just occasionally, in the real world,  things are bound to happen. Machines fail, something breaks. The successive good reviews are  because if something does go awry, and if our guests tell us about it  during their stay,  we do move heaven and earth to fix it while those guests are still with us. People greatly appreciate this effort  on our part  and we guarantee  we always make it. If once in a while a review is less than wonderful it is  almost always the case that it was outside our control ( internet down or slow in the whole area for example)  or  sometimes we were  inexplicably only advised about a problem after those guests had departed when there was sadly nothing we could do to make it better.

Spent a lovely weekend enjoying peace and quiet and of course the fantastic view!

"Breathtaking views" Tintern Abbey Cottage 1st August 2019 -

We spent a really lovely week in this fantastic cottage. Plenty of space for 6. Beautiful scenery and thank you for making this cottage so user friendly. We had an amazing time and will definitely recommend to many others.

Plenty of space for 6 Tintern Abbey Cottage 8th August 2019 -

What a wonderful cottage! Took us 7.5 hours to arrive from Cornwall, so to arrive to the table being set and the cottage  lovely, beautiful and cosy.

We so appreciated everything. Great nights sleep had by all.

We will be back!!!

What a wonderful cottage! Tintern Abbey Cottage 11 August 2019 -

Wonderful welcome, flowers, wine and a beautiful cottage. Loved it as soon as we walked through the door. Very peaceful settings and hot tub just what you needed after the lovely long walks with the dogs. Spoilt for choice for places to eat and Tintern Abbey…beautiful!

Comoing here was just what we all needed.

Wonderful Welcome at Foxes Reach August 2019 - August 2019

We have thoroughly enjoyed our week in this gorgeous cottage. It is in such a peaceful setting that it has been such a relaxing week, helped by the lovely weather (just one day of rain). Many afternoons enjoyed sitting in the garden or relaxing in the hot tub.
