We  always have done  everything we know how to protect you and your holiday . Safety  was, and remains,  our top priority. From electrical safety to careful cleaning this is our style. During the COVID pandemic we enhanced this with antiviral products of course.
We were are proud to have been awarded the  Internationally recognized Good to Go kitemark at that difficut time.

The pandemic is over but we are still still asked what we do about it and this is the answer!

The official Good to Go scheme was closed in 2022 as the pandemic officially closed down – but  COVID  and other infectious things always have existed- so we  have always taken  precautions for your safety .

Its not just during the pandemic. Safety is always our way of life.

  • We are sending out to every booking a hugely informative app instead of hard to sanitise paperwork in the cottage
  • We have a safe self check -in process which allows full social distancing though we will gladly come to the cottage on request
  • We use professional anti-viral disinfectant  products throughout our houses.
  • Your cottage  is thoroughly aired before your arrival
  • Our whole team of cleaners and owners who prepare the cottages have been vaccinated for our, and your, safety
  • Our hot tub is carefully sanitised according to governing body guidelines
  • All our procedures will continue to be reviewed  and will remain in accordance with , or stricter than, Government guidelines
  • We continue to prioritize electrical safety, and fire safety and keep right up to date with all guidelines.

Book  and pay with confidence

A deposit of £100 is required to secure your booking. We take cards via a secure bank system  for your peace of mind.

Your remaining balance is payable about 8 weeks before arrival. Slightly longer in the case of Christmas bookings

What if there is lockdown again?

In the event that we are again required to lockdown or  your home area is locked down for the dates booked you can obviously not come- but your payment is NOT LOST!

Since this outbreak first began we have been offering date transfers  within 12 months of your original booking at any of our cottages if we were required to close By LAW.  100% of what you have paid us  was/is  transferred as a credit to the cost of the new date and you can  probably find something at or very close to the same price (you can pay a little extra for a more expensive option or we will refund the difference if you select something less expensive ). If a date change is really not possible we will offer a full refund but the date transfer is by far the most popular option- that way  you do get a holiday even if delayed!  We make no admin charges for this considerable effort but please note it only applies when the amendment is caused by LAW- not your illness or change of plans. Please insure.

Please insure!

We strongly recommend you to buy travel insurance which will now cover most situations  and which will protect your payments. Accidents and illnesses do occur and we will not refund you or transfer dates if you sadly suffer from  things which prevent you coming to us or force you to leave us early. Please insure!
