“We arrived to a lovely welcome. The cottage is ideally situated for access to all attractions and yet is in a very quiet and peaceful location. The Big Pit, the National Showcaves of Wales, Puzzlewood and Clearwell Caves all kept our grandson happy for the whole time we were there. Good places to visit. We have had a lovely week and the weather has even been kind! Heath Party from dorset August 2009” Heath Party - March 2014
“Foxes Reach was the best cottage we have ever stayed at. Very clean and well equipped and in a beautiful area with such a lot to do. Thank you to the lovely neighbour Jonathon who helped so kindly when something silly happened to us, we hope you will all enjoy telling the tale. Thank you again! “We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage. Mixed weather of hot sun and one wet day but managed to ge to the beach twice which the children loved. Highly recommend Llantwit Major for all ages- good rockpools and good surfing. Cardiff was fantastic -one day wasnt enough! Puzzlewood was magical and we were lucky enough to visit while a Dr Who crew was filming. teenage sons very excited! The hot tub was wonderful, very relaxing. thanks so much for the warm welcome and all your thoughtful extras . Much appreciated. You should market the vodka! The Davis Family x 5 August 09” Davis Family -
“We are sisters from Wales and from Canada and came to Foxes Reach at May Day for a belated Christmas together. What a wonderful weekend we’ve had. The cottage is beautiful, well equipped and the little touches ( flowers and so on) make it truly special. We had a great meal at the Piercefield in Chepstow who even supplied crackers and mince pies for us.The cottage hot tub was wonderful and the fire warm and welcoming (even though we had warm spring sunshine!) The only downside to our holiday was that it ended too soon. The Logue party from Cardiff, Aberdare and Burlington Ontario.” The Logue Party -
“Thanks for a lovely week in Foxes Reach.Had some lovely walks especially in Bargain Wood and Tintern Wood. Also great trips to Raglan Castle, Tintern Abbey,Clearwell Caves, canoed from Kerne Bridge to Symonds Yat, and cycled in the Forest of Dean. Very comfortable cottage and great attention to detail makes this an appealing place to stay. Regards from Dominic and Pauline Carter and Family Easter 2009” The Carter Family -
“””We were made to feel very welcome in a nice, homely cottage with a woodburner, the homemade blackcurrant vodka was very much appreciated after a spell in the hot tub which was delightful! There is plenty to do in area with lots of lovely views over the Wye Valley. The Anchor Inn and Moon and Sixpence in Tintern were both nice, friendly places to eat with generous portions at a reasonable price.”” Mrs East and Party April 09 ” Mrs East and Party -
