Came away for 3 nights to relax and unwind. Fell in love with the cottage. Long walk with dog, hot tub, wine and woodburner! Perfect! Gary, Rob and Milo Gary, Rob and Milo - March 2018
What a charming cottage! Pristine, rustic condition and so, so welcoming!. We love everything about the cottage, the location, the log burner and the way it just feels like home. Thank you to Fiona who, despite being on crutches, gave us the warmest of welcomes. Flowers, Welsh cakes and wine- lovely, thank you very much. Not far from our home town of Cheltenham but a completely different world. To quote good old Arnie “I’ll be back!! We have had a wonderful stay- the cottage is just lovely and so perfect to come home to at the end of a busy day out exploring. We enjoyed a long walk from Tintern to Devil’s Pulpit, Offas Dyke and round Brockweir. Thanks again Fiona for the wine and welcome. The cottage is just perfect and will definitely recommend Andy, Helen and Claudia O’Toole Andy, Helen and Claudia O'Toole -
Thoroughly enjoyed our short break in this beautiful cottage. The area has outstanding beauty and the cottage is ideally situated with an incredible outlook. We will look to return when time and availability allow – five stars from us. David and Marjorie Somerville David and Marjorie Somerville -
This is our 7th year and every year has been different and very special. This year the snow brought by storm Emma just made our stay even more special- Tintern in 6-7 inches of snow was even more beautiful than usual, although it slowed us down a little we managed a walk every day. Our hosts Fiona and Malcolm are the best! Always leaving us little treats for us and Sammy the dog. Always have great suggestions for walks and events in the area and always look after our every needs. They ouldn’t do anymore to make our stay just perfect! Aleady booked for St David’s day next year. Can’t wait. Have an amazing year. Jo, Liz and Sammy the exhausted hound! Jo, Liz and Sammy the exhausted hound! -
