Weve had a lovely week at Vanilla Cottage, and were blessed with great weather. The cottage is lovely, well equipped and in a beautiful and peaceful location. The garden is perfect for dog and child to play in, whilst the grown ups have a drink on the patio. We visited some lovely places: Usk Castle, Raglan Castle, Tintern Abbey and the three castles: White, Grosmont and Skenfrith. Further afield we visited some beautiful waterfalls near Merthyr and St Fagans museum near Cardiff. A great holiday- hope to return next year. Many thanks Katy, Dave, George and Doris the dog. We all had a fantastic time. The view absolutely took our breath away and Kelly and I enjoyed a glass of wine as the sun set on our first night, sitting on the stone bench just looking at it. We had great trips to Raglan Castle, Puzzlewood and Tintern Old Station. A lot of ice cream and fudge was also gobbled. After a very long journey it was lovely to arrive at such a fabulous cottage with a very much appreciated welcome package! Vanilla Cottage is a lovely place to stay and we quickly felt at home. The beds are very comfortable and the shower/ whirlpool bsth were steaming hot. The garden is gorgeous and I loved all of the flowers. The Clytha Arms pub has fantastic food, the staff are very friendly and they love dogs, we would definitely reccommend it. Thank you for allowing us to stay in Your wonderful cottage. Plenty of dog walkd and a trip down to the Gower is worth the journey- Oxwich Bay especially.
