We welcome small meetings at all three cottages however Tintern Abbey Cottage has a a good sized dining room area and so lends itself really well to hosting small meetings and conferences. Because we are private and quiet , yet easily reached , the location is ideal for think tanks and days away from your own office as well as for interviews. courses and meetings or negotiations out of the public eye.
This cottage is about 20-25 minutes drive from the spanking new International Conference Centre Wales and makes an ideal laid back venue for conference delegates bring ing family or wishing to host a small meeting of their own.
We can seat 6 round the normal dining table ( boardroom style) or we can add an extra table and more chairs bringing it up to about 10 in comfort ( or a few more if you are happy to be tighter on space). Some of you could be sleeping in the cottage with others joining for the meeting- or you could just book for a meeting day.
We can bring in a screen but our white walls are pretty good for your projected slides!
We have good WiFi, good mobile phone reception, and a telephone landline.
Our kitchen can cope with your own light refreshments ( hot or cold) or we can arrange catering for you. We can leave food ready for you to serve yourselves or we can serve you. Please tell us what you would like and we can give you advice and prices.
The cottage is also in walking distance of several pubs and eateries so there is another alternative as well!
We are not a big impersonal meeting venue- we are a small family business and we will tailor everything to your wishes. Just ask!
We dont use the names of those we have hosted for publicity but they have included:-
Lord Elis-Thomas was in Tintern Abbey for the opening of the Museum of the Moon, part of the exceptional Wye Valley River festival.
Monmouthshire Cottages has again won the top accolade of Best Self Catering in Wales
