So many good walks for humans and their doggy “carers”

are fab with trails from the door in all directions. The cottage is close to Offa’s Dyke path and the Wye Valley Walk
The village has lovely artisan shops and a fantastic pub with good food.
Also a great spot to watch the local cricket teams!
We highly recommend the cottage and will return.

There are some surprising activities for people of all ages to enjoy and experience in Tintern, the Wye Valley and surrounding area in Monmouthshire. For those that enjoy using their mobile phones there is Geocaching!

The area has some excellent golf courses and fishing on the River Usk.

Canoe the Wye from Ross on Wye to Monmouth or Monmouth to Redbrook.

Stand up paddle boarding and wild swimming (including some naturist sessions) at Court Farm Lakes Sauna, swim, cafe and Stand up paddle boarding sessions.

The Shire Hall in Monmouth boasts the court room of the Chartist trials and a visit to the dungeons and at Caerleon the Roman fortress and baths and baths is well worth a visit.

With so much to do you will want to return!
