We had a wonderful stay in Tintern Abbey Cottage, which exceeded our expectations. It was cosy, comfortable and welcoming and we visited some fascinating places in the area. We were also blessed with marvellous weather! As our brother lives nearby, we are very likely to return. We have had a wonderful week at Foxes Reach…and so lucky to have had such beautiful sunny weather all week. The Cottage has everything we needed, very cosy beds, cosy lounge and lovely garden. The peaceful location is perfect and we have found some great dog walks through the nearby woodlands. We have visited Tintern, Monmouth and Chepstow. We also went on the “Four Waterfalls Walk” in the Brecon Beacons. Great communication with our hosts. We will definitely stay here again! Many thanks for the tea, milk and cake! “The perfect cottage and location” Stunning! Cosy cottage, well kitted out kitchen and all amenities carefully thought out and provided. Downstairs bedroom was ideal for this 101st birthday girl. We had a wonderful stay in this charming cottage. Foxes Reach Cottage, Monmouthshire Cottages The location was perfect for exploring the Wye Valley with amazing walks in close proximity. We recommend the All Trails app for finding walks. After a day out, the highlight was cosying up by the fire or soaking in the hot tub. Locally, we have enjoyed a take away pizza from the Lion Inn, the Cafe on the Hill in Tutshill, Brockweir Village shop and the Cafe at the Chepstow Garden Centre. We wished we were staying longer.
