We were priviledged to stay in the cottage for a month. It really became home to us. so quiet and restful. The cottage itself is very comfortable, has everything needed for any length of stay. Beautiful location, great village and the surrounding countryside is stunning. Highly recommended as long a stay as possible! Thanks for a wonderful welcome and a fabulous cottage experience. This is an outstanding area for exploring and there are miles of walks from the doorstep, and in particular around Tintern. The walk up to The Devil’s Pulpit is worth it! We visited Chepstow and Raglan Castles and thoroughly enjoyed them. We also managed an afternoon in Cardiff (only 45 minutes away). We loved the cottage and the area. The Walker family Sheffield Foxes Reach - A Fabulous Cottage Experience - April 2019
We’ve had a lovely week in Foxes Reach Cottage and have enjoyed many local sights. Fiona and Malcolm gave us an Easter Themed Welcome and were on hand to deal with any issues promptly. We’re a family of four (2 children aged 14 and 11) and a dog and they enjoyed playing in the garden and the hot tub. We can recommend visiting Caerfilly and Chepstow Castles and of course, Tintern Abbey. We can also recommend Canoe the Wye for a wonderful afternoon canoeing down the river and the beautiful walks around tintern. Thank for a lovely break in a wonderful location. What a breath of fresh air, such a gorgeous cottage!! Real home from home and the fire was a comforting feature at the end of each day. My daughter enjoyed horse riding at Severnwye Equestrian centre and the Forest of Dean Railway was a highlight for my son. Highly recomment Krazy Golf at Lydney for the children and the big kids, the burgers at the next door American Diner are fab! Again thanks so much for providing a wonderful stay. We will be sure to recommend to all our friends. Ruth, Paul, Naomi and Ethan South West London Foxes Reach - What a breath of fresh air -
