We have enjoyed our stay in your beautiful cottage. Thank you for your warm welcome and welcoming gifts. We enjoyed visiting Tintern Abbey, Raglan Castle and Blaenavon, and were lucky to have some sunny days. The Food at The Black Bear was excellent. Geoff and Jackie Didcot Geoff and Jackie - March 2015
Had a lovely time at the cottage. Loved just relaxing in a rural retreat with a lovely fire, beautiful flowers and all the other little touches. Our boy love watching the horse through the window. We enjoyed visiting Puzzlewood, Symonds Yat rock, Tintern Old Railway Station and Abbey Mill in Tintern. The weather was kind enough to allow us to walk in the woods which was just great. Overall a great birthday break. Thank you The Wilds Northamptonshire The Wilds -
Just wanted to say how much we have enjoyed our time here at Foxes Reach. We have had some lovely sunny days and enjoyed time at Tintern Old Station, Abergavenny, Chepstow, Coleford and Tintern Abbey. We also love Raglan Castle as did Moon our Ssharpei dog. We will definitely return here as the cottage is gorgeous and the hot tub has been fab too. It has been nice to be away from it all, but not too far from civilization. The homemade Vodka was delicious and the cakes a very nice touch and went down well. Anyway, thanks so much. We are leaving Catbrook refreshed, relaxed and very happy. Moon absolutely loved the fire. Lovely stay in a lovely cottage. Nice walk and picnic up at the fort, supplied by wyevalleypicnics.co.UK. Walk along river northward very picturesque to Clytha Castle and park. Lovely lunch at Clytha Arms – the Ploughmans is recommended. The Black Bear for supper is a treat- really nice staff there. Jo, Liz and Sammy Hove Jo, Liz and Sammy - March 2015
Home from Home, thank you Fiona And Malcolm for the lovely welcome. We had a fabulous time, good walks, National Trust properties and certainly excellent meals over at The Anchor Inn. The staff over at The Anchor Inn are so friendly and “dog friendly”. Tintern Abbey Cottage is set in a brilliant location with all the comforts of home. Log burner very cosy in the evening. Recommendation made by Malcolm for Sunday lunch at The Fountain Inn proved to be a winner!!!
