We had a wonderful week in Vanilla cottage and enjoyed walking off the pre Christmas stress in the Brecon Beacons. Our favourites were hiking a frozen llangattock Escarpment, where we were one of a few walkers on New Years Eve. This was in contrast to a very busy and stormy Pen Y Fan. We are avid hikers (probably the austrian genes) we will definitely be coming back to explore the area and would love to stay in Vanilla cottage again. Thank you for making our Xmas 2014 so wonderful from the moment we arrived to the moment we are about to leave, it felt like home. The Xmas tree, fire and mulled wine were amazing touches that relaxed us within minutes despite our 18 hour journey. We had a wonderful time here the only downside is that we couldn’t stay longer. This area is heaven on earth for us and we cannot wait to return. Thank you Fiona and Malcolm for being such considerate and welcoming hosts. Wishing you Happy New Year and Prosperity in 2015.
