This was our first visit to Wales and I’m sure we’ll be back as there’s so much more to see! Lovely, spacious and homely cottage in a great location. Lovely welcoming touches and the woodburner made it so cosy. A couple of long walks from the cottage were great. We visited the Doctor Who experience in Cardiff as our children are fans. The Big Pit was also well worth a visit -a fascinating insight into the mining life. All in all a fantastic week and we’d love to come back. Hobin family Eastleigh Hants Hobin family - February 2015

We have enjoyed the cottage, tremendously, in a beautiful location, tremendous for night photography. All the little details and extras in the cottage, made a difference. Had some lovely walks from the cottage, especially from Tintern to Brockweir along the river. Dogs especially appreciated it. Had some lovely meals in The Anchor, excellent food, all fresh produce. The Steak Ale Pie (homemade) is fab. Overall beautiful cottage, with so many little extras. Frank Powell Merseyside Frank Powell - February 2015

Thank you Malcolm and Fiona for a lovely stay at your beautiful Tintern Abbey Cottage. Everyone told us it rains a lot in Wales! Nevertheless we had a wonderful few days – driving through the villages, a visit to the Sculpture trail ( incorporating the Gruffalo trail which the kids enjoyed!) Red robin spotting, crunching through snow, local walks, a wander around the Abbey. Too much to see and do with only three days to do it in so we will have to come back. Thank you for the welcome treats- delicious BlackBerry Vodka! How nice it was to sit beside a real fire sipping wine!. A rarity in Australia! Off now, to the other side of the world, to 35 degrees Celsius, but this area has left a lasting impression.
