A super relaxing week and a great place to celebrate a special wedding anniversary along with our dog. A perfect place for him as he is getting on in years and unable to tackle stiles so the many woodland walks were just right. Between us we have tackled the first part of the Wye Valley Way and also some of many geocaches in the area. A lovely comfortable cottage – thanks for the treats and Ty thanks you for the Bonio too! We were married in St Michael’s church 10 years ago on 24/4/04- such a pleasure to be back in Tintern to celebrate once again. This cottage is a beautiful place to stay in with terrific views of The Abbey (where our wedding photographs were taken!) Can’t wait to come back again Alan, Victoria and Charlotte Perth Western Australia Western Australia Alan, Victoria and Charlotte - April 2014
We have had a wonderful time here. The cottage and location are fabulous and it was a fantastic place to catch up with old and dear friends. We hope to be back to make more happy memories. Thank you. Rachel, Stuart, Max and Bel Ingram Stockport UK The Ingram family -
This was our first stay at this beautiful cottage but hopefully not our last. We felt totally settled and at home remarkably quickly. The cottage is a real home from home, attention to detail and effort to provide every comfort is amazing and so appreciated. The surrounding area is utterly stunning, breathtakingly sights at every turn, just such a privilege to be here. Thank you so much for having us. Magical four days spent in Vanilla Cottage! As the weather was sunny for the whole of our stay ,we spent our days walking in superb scenery in woodlands and along rivers. We particularly enjoyed our dinner at the Black Bear Inn as both the food and atmosphere, were fantastic. Lovely little cottage and we are sure to come back soon. Our third visit and still has the wonder ful ,charm and comfort as the first time! The Abbey still evokes a wonderful vibe and looks beautiful on a misty morning. Came this weekend with the girls and enjoyed “high teas”, coffee and two lovely meals at The Anchor and The Fountain. Already feeling sad about leaving and will certainly be back soon. Thank you to Fiona and Malcolm for sharing this wonderful place with us and the treats left were very much appreciated. Best wishes Karen Midsomer Norton, Bath Karen Emery - April 2014
