We have enjoyed our week at Tintern Abbey Cottage- very comfortable and well appointed. Three days spent at The Hay Festival the rest of the time littering around the Wye Valley- such a beautiful part of the world. Such a lovely place to visit! We came for a few relaxing days to chill out before our baby arrives in 7 weeks. The cottage is beautiful with an amazing garden. Spent our nights chilling and eating in the cottage. Ate out one night at The Black Bear- very good food! Le Preggo in Monmouth do amazing cream teas! Jean Williams of Sweets fishing shop is lovely- sorted Paul out for fishing equipment – so friendly. We really enjoyed being in Vanilla Cottage, even though the weather wasn’t great, it provided a relaxing haven for us and luckily no dashes to the local hospitals. Our stay was very relaxing and we would love to come again! Very comfortable rooms and a lovely time spent with our family. What a fabulous weekend we have had with our sons and their families. We love this cottage. As soon as we walked through the door we felt at home. The welcome was full of warmth, and the little details made the difference, the flowers, the Welsh Cakes and gingerbread rabbits,which Caleb (16 months) loved, the dining table laid for our evening meal, true wine. Everything was so lovely. I would recommend this cottage wholeheartedly. The area is great, the weather was great, our holiday was great. Thank you so much! Already looking forward to our next visit.
