Beautiful cottage, previously stayed at Foxes Reach, so we knew we would be in for a treat. Very generous dining room and bedrooms! Although smaller garden than Foxes it is charming. I will miss watching rabbit and squirrel first thing in the mornings! out on the front garden! We don’t want to go home! But back to reality – We would love to return!! We’ve had a lovely time. Thoroughly enjoyed the cottage and its location. Ate at the Anchor most nights and can recommend wholeheartedly. Can also recommend Usk, Monmouth, Martha’s Tea Rooms in the Forest of Dean, Raglan and Chepstow Castles, Station Cafe and of course the beautiful Tintern Abbey. If you like art there are some wonderful depictions of the Abbey at Chepstow Museum including several by Turner. Weather – very good. Very impressed on arrival, lovely cottage- well equipped, more than expected nice touches egg Bonios for the dogs. Kids loved the garden. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub. Great area enjoyed exploring.
