A fantastic week in a beautiful cottage. Returning for a holiday after 11 years when we lived in Chepstow. Sunny and warm all week. Great location for shopping, eating, drinking and lots of fishing. If you like traditional fly fishing for Rainbows, Wooleston Court is the best!!! Large lakes, stunning location. Also check out Bigwell at Redbrook- like an aquarium in your back garden. Worth a visit, but on the small side. We all had a thoroughly good week. Many thanks Fiona and Malcolm John, Elaine and Jean Barr Broughty Ferry Dundee Scotland John, Elaine and Jean Barr -
One of the loveliest holiday cottages we’ve stayed in- everything we needed and the hot tub was lovely- a must when you have had a day out walking. Great walks which the dogs enjoyed especially the Devil’s Pulpit and up the Angiddy Valley. A great walk in woodland where they were off the lead the whole time. Also there is a great walk from the door of the cottage. Looking forward to a return visit The Meyers Gillingham Dorset The Meyers -
Many thanks for a very comfortable stay- this is undoubtedly the most well equipped holiday cottage we’ve ever stayed in. And we appreciated the flowers, Welsh Cakes and wine! We’ve been lucky to have had ideal weather for exploring the area on foot, and especially liked the view from the Devil’s Pulpit looking towards Tintern Abbey. Good food at The Anchor pub in Tintern and also the Saracens Head at Symonds Yat. Looking forward to visiting the area again. The Russell family Hampshire The Russell family -

Thank you a truly relaxing week. Started each day with a 1-2 hour hike up and down the hills around the cottage, loved by me, my mum and the 3 dogs. Amazing walks and fabulous views. Fab views from The Devil’s Pulpit. Don’t miss the Lime Kiln area – great if it’s raining so protected by trees. Teenagers happy to chill and enjoy the secret WiFi, plus a session of top adventure at Go Ape; and pottery around the village, drinks in the cafes and The Anchor pub. Beds were amazing- slept brilliantly ever night. Weather, though overcast was perfect. Simmonds party Weston Super Mare and Amesbury Simmonds party - August 2015
