Lovely home away from home and perfect location for beautiful views and walks! The gardens surrounding the cottage are well appointed with perennial and climbing roses, including lovely scented Rugosa roses. You will be intoxicated by the view of Tintern Abbey and the flowers. We have had a wonderful time at the cottage. Perfect for three couples. Everything we needed to cook in and great options close by for eating out. All around a fantastic deal! Eileen Stuber Baxter Tennessee U S A Eileen Stuber -
We enjoyed our stay at Vanilla Cottage very much. Such peaceful surroundings and many lovely welcoming details in the cottage. The weather has been great and we had some lovely days out. Fabulous week full of sunshine, pubs and walks. Ventured to Cardiff by train and Dean Forest railway sell worth a ride on a steam train. Bike hire from Parkend for half a day was good fun as was canoeing for half a day from Monmouth Canoes. All very exhausting so replenished stocks at The Fountain -great Sunday roast and The Anchor. Cottage excellent to come home to, particularly happy hour in the sun trap in the back garden. Relaxing week had by all. Ta very much Fiona and Malcolm Scales party East Sussex Scales party -

Second time here – a beautiful, peaceful spot and great cottage. Went to MONMOUTH- lovely town for a wander round. Ate at The Foxhunter in Nantyderry and The Black Bear in Bettws Neuwedd – both lovely meals but worth booking as both busy. Took a walk around Bettws Neuwedd- go to the Bluebell woods at the top of the hill and to the church with its 4000 year old Yew. Will certainly be back Allison and Tom Kelly Painton Devon Allison and Tom Kelly -
